I am sharing my specially curated list of home goods that are imperfect in a handmade sort of way; products that give your home that feeling of being well lived in and well loved. Comfort items that are imperfectly perfect for gifts; uneven edges, exaggerated drips and other unique decor ideas that add character to any space; very much like the goods you find on Etsy. I am highlighting a few of my personal favorites. These are products I have in my home that neighbors and friends ask me where I got them.
The first is our flatware. I love this flatware for the way it feels in your hand, the way it makes eating a simple meal feel fancy. Lemeya Silverware Set is a mid-century modern stainless steel flatware set. It comes in a 30 piece set with cutlery sets of service for 6. Now, here is where I will differ from the listing. It says dishwasher safe, BUT if you get the one that is black and gold, the black will flake off after a while. I highly suggest getting the all gold set unless you like handwashing your flatware. I wasn't too bummed about the black flaking off because once it is off, it looks just like the gold set, which I like equally as
much. These sets run $46.99-$49.99 depending on which color you choose. The black and gold and all gold are my favorites for my home.
Every dinner party I host, at least one person asks me where I got my flatware.
The next product I love are my natural charcuterie boards. I have at least 3 of these and they make putting out appetizers a breeze. Each Naturally Mediterranean Olive Wood Cutting Board/Cheese Board is slightly different and makes an organic shape. They are about 14"L and are only $32.99 each.
Now, my very favorite part about the cutting boards is that if I want to bring a cheese plate to a friend's party, I don't need to worry about it breaking during transport!
Another mainstay in my kitchen and one that took me years to find a kitchen towel that I liked is the MEEMA Kitchen Towel. It comes in a set of 4 and although they are slightly rustic, they are equally classic. They feel like old European cotton and have a super absorbent weave. They are good for the Earth as well, they are made with upcycled denim and cotton. They are also very large, which I like. They are 20x28 inches. The towels are easy peasy to machine wash. They are $24.99 for a set of 4.
